Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium

Characteristics
Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium (L.) Hilliard & B.L. Burtt
fragrant rabbit tobacco
Successional fields, roadsides, edges of forests and woodlands, and disturbed ground. This species does well in thin soils. It appears to have decreased in abundance in parts of the state during the 1900's perhaps due to agricultural fields growing back to forests.
