Myosotis scorpioides

Characteristics
Myosotis scorpioides L.
water forget-me-not
Seepage areas, springs, mucky soils in swamps, stream edges, ditches, wet successional fields, marshes, rich fens, and disturbed areas. This non-native can occur in dense large patches and does particularly well in perennially saturated to slightly inundated mucky soils. In swamps with hummocks it is found on the mucky soils between the hummocks. It is also often found on the edges of marshes and streams in "a draw down zone" below the high water mark on exposed soils.
