Characteristics
Alliaria petiolata (M. Bieb.) Cavara & Grande

Thickets, forests, roadsides, and disturbed areas. It does invade undisturbed forests but perhaps is much less common in that habitat than in disturbed successional forests and thickets. It also does very well in alluvial soils. Overall a very problematic highly invasive species that can thrive in understories.
